Who does not love Sunday mornings? Or waking up late and staying longer in bed, being lazy? I could get used to having two or three Sundays per week. I am really tired and I’d definitely love to sleep. I would sleep for couple of days, if possible. I feel like I accumulated so much fatigue, that it makes my body ache, as if I would be having chronic pain or something similar.
When I wake up, I don’t feel rested. Each morning, I drag myself out of the bed. Otherwise I would fall again in the slumber’s sweet embrace. I have set two alarms for the morning. One at 6:40 A.M. and the other at 6:55 A.M. I am always afraid that I won’t hear the alarm and I would miss work. Though, to be honest, it happened to have to alarms going on, and me sleeping like a log. That’s when I returned from my trip to Tadoussac. I had driven the whole day, and I couldn’t wake up at all.
Since my best friend moved in with me, my weekend schedule changed a bit. Him and his wife are getting divorced and he needed a place to stay. I asked him to come over and crash at my place. I had two extra bedrooms, there was extra space. During the week, I barely see him. He wakes up a bit later than me because he starts work at 9:30 A.M., whereas I am out of the house by 8 A.M.
In the week-end, his soon to be ex-wife drops their two kids at my door at 8:30 A.M. and they are staying with him (better said us) until Sunday evening when he has to take them to home to their mother. Having two young children in the house interferes with my sleeping and being lazy plans I had.
These little monsters are full of energy as if they eat Duracell batteries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I wish I could have at least ten percent of their energy. That would be more than enough to get me going through the day.
This Sunday morning Skylar came to my room at 7:12 A.M., climbed my bed and started to shout: “Wakey, wakey! The early has passed! Time to get up!” I did not know what to do: cry or laugh. Although I was exhausted and wanted to sleep more, I loved it. He was really cute.
I woke up, fixed some breakfast and started to read about access control for home.
